New research highlights growing interest from US buyers in prime London property, as more high-net-worth individuals consider relocating overseas amid ongoing political and economic uncertainty.

More than 5,000 US citizens are estimated to have expatriated in 2025, continuing a strong upward trend seen in recent years. According to Enness Global, this has translated into increased enquiries from American buyers focused on London’s prime neighbourhoods.

Robinson says that periods of political change and uncertainty often encourage internationally mobile individuals to seek stability elsewhere. He notes that interest from US buyers has increased as interest rates begin to fall and prime London property values remain attractive.
